"Days are always born at night"
Is the slogan for CNON, the first national congress focused on nightlife, created in Seville in 2017 with a view to professionalising the sector and which, following the success of its first edition, was held for a second time at Valencia Fair Site in May 2018. Presentations, round tables and symposiums by the most experienced voices in this field at both national and international level provided a vision of the present and of the future.
Figures such as the Night Mayors of Amsterdam, Zurich and Berlin, representatives of the World Tourism Organization, Turespaña, national authorities, brands and entrepreneurs have described the keys to evolving nightlife in our country. The aim was to unite the sector, giving it greater business maturity and leadership through innovative proposals. The sector's importance as a generator of employment and a driving force behind tourism was reinforced, analysing issues in which it was part of the solution, convincing public opinion and institutions of its capacity for renewal, initiative and professionalisation.
Networking relations with Exhibition Zones for Nightlife Brands and Service Companies were promoted in both editions in order to give an even more multidisciplinary overview: Pernod Ricard, Coca Cola, Monster Energy, Royal Bliss, Heineken, CadenaSer/Los 40, MeyerSound, Cubers, Cabify, Audiotec, BullControl, Functional Gums, Ortho Studio, SoltelDidesis, NiceWaveTV, Hipervaso… along with an R&D Exhibition, masterclasses, rest areas and activities such as “Shishas Day”, reaching a high level of participation as a new attraction in this sector.
More than a hundred news items about the event, 50,000 impressions on social media and over 400 attendees at each edition made CNON the perfect days for all those involved in the night.
