The personal experience never leaves anyone indifferent.
The story is well known: five centuries ago, Juan Ponce de León landed on what he thought was a Caribbean island and named it La Florida. How to make a story that belongs to textbooks to transform into something that attracts and excites the current visitor, accustomed to dramatic and immediate content, looked like a challenge in terms of communication.
In this case, the challenge was met once again thinking on the viewer.
The intense work carried out with Carmen Bueno and her team of project management with which we created the design and concept of the exhibition was the basis to lead to a format that gave prominence to the experience. So, thanks to technology and state of the art interactive resources, we gave back life to the ancient conquerors so that visitors could "talk" to them. The experience was further enhanced through the creation and development of a special app for mobile devices, allowing to deepen their content and interact with them beyond the limits of the exhibition space.
Now, "Imagining La Florida" is a revelation to the public of the 21st century. Those who have seen it, have lived the story in first person and have also discovered for themselves the deepest secrets of modern and current Florida.
The exhibition is organized by Acción Cultural Española (AC / E) (Spanish Cultural Action) and the pictures have been granted by AC/E.
